NEET to be conducted on May 7, 2017

Shimla – The admission for the academic session 2017-18 for BAMS/BHMS courses in all Ayurvedic and Homeopathic Colleges of the State including government/private and colleges of Deemed Universities would be done on the basis of merit of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). This decision was taken in a meeting held here today under the chairmanship of Principal Secretary Ayurveda Shri Sanjay Gupta. Director, Ayurveda Dr. R.K. Pruthi informed that the NEET would be conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education on 7th May, 2017 and the last date for online submission of application forms is 1st March, 2017. He also informed that PG admission in AYUSH colleges will also be done through the National Post Graduate Entrance Test (AYUSH NPGET) from academic session 2017-18.
