‘Kullu Rang Mela’ Stirs Audience

The Active Monal Cultural Association, a popular group of Himachal in the field of theatre, is always active in creating and successfully staging their plays and dramas filled with entertainment and moral values. Recently, the association staged wonderful plays at Kala Kendra, Kullu in association with Union Ministry of Culture. Their plays were staged in the local theatre style, which was appreciated by all. Plays written by famous writers and directors staged during the weeklong ‘Kullu Rang Mela’ included ‘Nayan Bhari Talaiya’, ‘Dugadh Dhenu’, ‘Bhagwan Ke Poot’, ‘Chidiya Ke Bahane’, ‘Atamhatya Ki Dukaan’ and ‘Kaak Chitra’. All depictions were based on social issues and some local stories. ‘Nayan Bhari Talaiya’ depicted the superstitions prevalent in hilly areas different places in pahari areas. ‘Dugadh Dhenu’ was a play which brought out an ancient story of a King of Kehlur who was very cruel and how people stood together against him.       ‘Chidiya Ke Bahane’ depicted the corrupt system of our society. Famous writer Keher Singh Thakur had written the story of the play. The play was very well presented in a comic style. Actors depicted how people have turned selfish and corrupt these days. The story was revolved around a sparrow, which came from some other country and travelled through many places in India, revealing how people were addicted to the corruption in the country.

Shimla’s Sehar Bamba To Debut Opposite Sunny Deol’s Son

After Preiti Zinta, Kangana Ranaut and Yami Gautam, here’s another Himachali girl who is ready to debut in a Bollywood movie with Sunny Deol’s son. This is a big break for Shimla’s Sehar Bamba who would play the lead role opposite Sunny’s son Karan Deol.Amid several star kids including Sara Ali Khan and Jhanvi Kapoor gearing up for their Bollywood debut, Sunny Deol was looking for a fresh and talented face to launch his son with. The ‘Ghayal’ actor had been actively looking for a fresh face that could be launched as the female lead opposite Karan in the romantic flick ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas’. He finally found Seher Bamba, an 18-year-old girl from Shimla. With the leading lady in place, the movie will reportedly go on floors soon. Reportedly Sunny has finalised a location in Manali for the shooting of the film.

You have seen models walking the ramp in Miss Himachal contest which concluded recently. In the jam packed auditorium, in front of camera and lights, models walked the ramp and finally Shweta Sharma of Una won the Miss Himachal 2017 crown. But behind this all, ramp walking and grooming sessions, there were our partners Sanjay Kanan and Sanman Gowda of Nritya Fashion Entertainment who helped in grooming of all the contestants of Miss Himachal 2017. During the workshop, these experts provided their valuable suggestions to the contestants and got them ready for the finale of this much anticipated show of Himachal. Sanjay and Sanman both told that they feel very happy while coming to Himachal for this talent hunt. Sanjay also said that Himachali girls need proper guidance because they have immense talent to showcase to the world.
