Miss Himachal 2017 Winners

This is regarding Himachal This Week’s cover story of March 4, 2017, “Miss Himachal 2017 Winners”. This mega event organised by Divya Himachal group is achieving new milestones every year if the enthusiasm and number of particpants is any indication. Himachali young ladies are also coming forward to pursue a career of their choice. But what is encouraging is the fact that their parents are also encouraging and assisting their daughters in fulfilling their dreams. And the leading media group has provided them a perfect platform to pursue a career in modeling.

Democratic Values

There is no place for violence and bad words in democracy but the situation in Indian politics tells a different story. Elected representatives have a responsibilty to protect democratic values in addition to looking after people’s welfare. On the contrary, people feeel disillusioned due to actions of elected representatives. Difference between saying and doing of politcal leaders is increasing. Leaders should maintain values in the world’s biggest democracy.
