Property worth lakhs gutted in Una

Una- Property worth lakhs of rupees was gutted in three major fire incidents reported in the area. In first case, a major fire erupted in Amartex showroom located here early morning. Manager of the shopping mall has claimed that goods worth Rs. 90 lakh were destroyed in the fire. The flames were brought under control after five hours as four fire tenders were pressed into the service. Reason behind the fire incident is yet to be ascertained. In another fire incident, nearly thirty jhuggis of migrant labourers were reduced to ashes resulting in a loss of Rs. 3 lakh at Ghaluwal Bridge. Standing wheat crop adjoining jhuggis also destroyed in the fire. In yet another incident, a parked Swift car also caught fire in the town.
