Samsung Galaxy Tab S3

 Samsung-Galaxy-Tab-S3South Korean consumer electronics giant Samsung has launched its Galaxy Tab S3 tablet in India. The company has launched the LTE variant of the tablet at Rs 47,990. The device will come in Black and Silver colour options and the consumers can also buy a Book Cover for Rs 2,999 and a Keyboard Cover for Rs 8,499 with the tablet. The company has also bundled the S Pen with the device. As part of the launch offers, the customers can will Reliance Jio double data offer with 28GB + 28GB per month at Rs 309. Along with this, the company is also offering one-time screen replacement at Rs 990 for the tablets purchased before July 31. It sports a 9.7-inch Super Amoled display, which is the same as the Galaxy Tab S2. Running on Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor, the tablet comes with Adreno 530 GPU and 4GB of RAM, which is 1GB bump from its predecessor. Samsung also mentioned that the Galaxy Tab S3 includes 32GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card up to 256GB. There will be a 13MP autofocus rear camera and a 5MP front-facing snapper. Both will be able to record videos in 4K resolution.

Moto C Plus

Moto C PlusLenovo-owned Motorola has launched its budget Android smartphone Moto C Plus in India. Priced at Rs 6,999, the smartphone will be exclusively available on e-commerce website Flipkart. Moto C Plus is almost identical to the recently-launched Moto C in appearance, however, comes with slightly better specifications. Its key highlight is its 4000mAh battery and the smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the box. The smartphone has a 5-inch HD display and runs on 1.3Ghz MediaTek processor MT6737 quad-core Cortex-A53 processor. Moto C Plus is paired with 2GB of RAM. Users get 16GB internal storage, with support for microSD cards of up to 32GB in size. For photos and videos, the smartphone has an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture, which can record HD videos. Moto C Plus offers 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options.

HTC U11 ‘Squeezable’

HTC U11HTC finally took the wraps off its HTC U11 ‘squeezable’ smartphone in India. The flagship smartphone costs Rs 51,990 (MOP) in India, which interestingly is lower than the previously launched HTC U Ultra handset (Rs 59,990). The handset will be available both online from Amazon India and offline from last week of June. Also mentioned is that the pre-orders on HTC e-store started from June 17 and customers availing the pre-order will receive a free HTC flip-cover worth Rs 1,999. The highlight of the HTC U 11 is its ‘squeezable’ side bezels. Running HTC Edge Sense user interface based on Android 7.1 Nougat, the smartphone comes with 8 sensors on the side bezels to register the squeeze. These sensors are integrated with the Edge Sense and lets users long press to launch any app. The feature can be customised inside the settings. The HTC U 11 comes with a 5.5-inch QHD Super LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 coating. The screen is also operational using gloves. It sports a ‘Liquid Surface’ design with mirror-like glossy reflection, something that is increasingly being used by high-end smartphones. The U 11’s unibody design includes a mix of glass and looks a lot like the HTC U Ultra. The smartphone is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor along with 6GB RAM. This also makes the smartphone, the second mobile device after the Xperia XZ Premium to come with the Snapdragon 835 processor in India.
