Painting Exhibition A Treat For Eyes

A painting exhibition of painter Dr. Chaman Sharma, being organised at the Gaiety Theatre, is definitely a treat for eyes. This exhibition has been put up so that people can experience the best of his art work. He also came to the fore to tell people about his paintings. Chaman Sharma’s bright hues and cool tints of nature in water colors is quite attractive. Himachali villages are brought out so beautifully in the paintings that people too would fall in love with this hill state again and again. Various landscapes and variety of messages have been displayed in the exhibition.  A total of 85 paintings are on display, in which mostly rural area of the country has been displayed. The exquisite paintings of Shimla made by his own style gave Gaiety visitors, an opportunity to appreciate his work. A tourist from Punjab told that this exhibition brought out colours so lively that she spent a lot of time while appreciating paintings. She added that she fell in love with Himachal after seeing these paintings. Historical buildings are also painted so well by the painter which indeed gave a fantastic leisure time to the locals as well as visitors.

2). Hormonal changes in women: During puberty, pregnancy and menopause, gums become more sensitive and prone to develop gingivitis.

3). Diabetes: People with diabetes are at higher risk to develop infections, including gums infection. Diabetes also impact gum healing.

4). Medication: Like other medicines, cancer treatment and medicines which affect flow of saliva can promote gums disease.

5). Stress, poor nutrition, high sugar diet and vitamin C deficiency also contribute to gums disease.

6). Genetic susceptibility: If your parents or grand parents had lost their teeth due to gums disease, you are more prone. But proper care and regular dentist consultation can reduce your risk.

Tips For Healthy Gums

Balance diet quit smoking and golden rule is brush your teeth twice a day. Visit your dentist in every 6 months.

Gums Disease Cause Problems Beyond Mouth

Gums disease can also cause you problems beyond mouth. Researchers have observed that people with gums disease are more likely to develop heart disease, have difficulty in controlling blood sugar, women with gums disease are more likely to give low birth weight babies.
