BJP And Congress Getting Equally Tired In Himachal

While the Congress is getting tired due to lack of energy, the Bharatiya Janata Party is overspending her energy to get exhausted before the upcoming general assembly elections due in Himachal later this year. Rath Yatra, Parivartan Yatra and finally yatra to the next trail of strength will make both the parties run an unadjusted race without much verve.

The Congress is hardly visible in the grass roots but the BJP is every other day holding briefing or meetings. Finally it may lead to their scoring a tired battle but their house is not in order as revealed in open fights between two groups in Bhuntar where even senior leader and Member of Parliament Shanta Kumar was also present, political observers point out.

Ticket distribution is going to be tough for the parties and the grouping is likely to create more skirmishes. Youth wing of Congress is already threatening Vikas Prachar Yatra with a view to project the achievements of the government during its present tenure. But many critics are skeptic as they think there is nothing much to report. Ultimately this exercise may end in seeking ticket for the propagandists. Both the parties claim to give ticket to winnable candidates but finally they might end up in high command culture decision making, political observers add.

The GST has been passed in the state assembly but the Congress is opposing the bill in the parliament and likely to boycott the mid night session. Many state traders are also mobilising support from politicians to derail the reforms but it might put the state government in great embarrassment after having unanimously passed the same.
