U-19 Sports Tourney In Una

A district level sports tournament was organised at Government Senior Secondary School, Mavan Sindhiyan in Una, where girls in under-19 age group displayed brilliant sporting skills. As many as 300 players from 26 schools from the district participated in the tournament. Sports events included kho-kho, kabaddi, volleyball, badminton and there were cultural events too to entertain players. Government Senior Secondary School, Chalet emerged winner in volleyball in the Gagret zone, while in Amb zone, Government Senior Secondary School, Suri remained on the top spot. Kabaddi competitions were more entertaining during this sports event. Government Senior Secondary School, Sanghneyi emerged winner in kabaddi followed by Kuthera Jaswalan team. In kho-kho, Government Senior Secondary School, Andora emerged winner, while Chalet School got the second spot. In badminton, Government Senior Secondary School, Wadera Rajputan topped the chart. In Amb zone, DAV Public Model School, Kalu Di Bar clinched the top spot while Government Senior Secondary School, Dhusara remained on 2nd position. In badminton, Government Senior Secondary School, Saloi emerged winner followed by Government Senior Secondary School, Thathal for the second position. For march past, Amb school was adjudged as the best team.
