India is a big country and is known for its rich culture, traditions and talent all across the globe. But the disease of corruption prevailing in the country is eating it like a termite. The country has witnessed such a large number of scams in last 20 years that it seems that they had determined to eliminate underprivileged or lower strata of the society. Middle class has also suffered badly because of it. Roots of corruption have grown so deep that it is prevailing in almost every section of the society and system.

Everyone today is busy in accumulating wealth even through corrupt practices. This is how big businessmen stack millions of rupees that goes out of both the circulation in the market and in the account of government. This money has been termed as black money. The Union Government’s initiative to make India a cashless economy to counter black money is commendable one. In present times, Indian public has understood that this is the best method to fight corruption prevailing at large scale in the country.

Online transfer of money will also prove useful in countering terrorism funding. Besides this, it will also prove to be a lethal weapon against counterfeit notes and corruption prevailing in different government departments. Online money transfer could also see money braggers going silent as there are many use their money power to affect judicial decisions too. It will also bring transparency in government offices as the move will help put noose on corrupt babus who have amassed huge wealth all because of corrupt means and methods. The tax evading businessmen too could not escape from this move.

Adoption of cashless initiative will see India emerging with a new clean image and the widening bridge between rich and poor could also be narrowed down. Inflation and price hike will also see positive effects. In total cashless initiative will have positive effect on almost all the aspects of economy. The only needs is such an implementation of this system that every citizen denies to pay in cash and prefers online mode of payment. We need to bring a change in our approach and mindset and adopt cashless initiative with open heart to strengthen economy and hence India.
