Election department motivates college students

Shimla –   The state Election Department has launched a drive to help college students in preparing their photo voter cards. The district electoral officers have been directed to motivate college going students and other voters for making their voter cards besides creating awareness about the value of their vote. Joint Chief Electoral Officer of the state election department Sonia Thakur addressed the students of government college Sanjauli and urged them to come forward in making voter cards and exercise their franchise in the coming Assembly elections. She also detailed out the process for preparing photo voter cards.
