Mr. Himachal 2017

Ritwik Sharma of Shimla emerged winner of Mr. Himachal 2017 contest organised by Divya Himachal after the grand finale was held at Government Degree College auditorium in Dharamshala. The announcement was made by Mr. Supranational India 2016 Jitesh Thakur who was the celebrity guest on the occasion. Avinash Thakur of Jawali remained 1st Runner up whereas Shubham Kashyap of Solan was 2nd Runner up of the event. The panel of judges consisting of Jitesh Thakur, Divya Himachal’s Editor-in-Chief Anil Soni, Central University of Himachal Pradesh Professor Shreya Bakshi and TIPA Director Wangdu Tsering Phesur had a tough time to decide winners from 20 finalists who had reached the grand finale. The panel judged various aspects of contestants, including ramp walk, personality to shortlist the candidates first to 10, then five and ultimately three winners.

Handmade Items Exhibition At Gaiety

Himachal This Week, Shimla

On the occasion of Diwali, a special exhibition was organised by Anokhe Events company. They exhibited hand made pictures related to Diwali festival and candles. Landscapes, Buddha and Lord Ganesh are described in paintings made by Ridhi Chauhan. She not only made paintings with colours but also used waste wood and through. POP. She drew a huge crowd towards her paintings. Not only locals but visitors also appreciated her paintings. People also bought hand made candles which they liked a lot. Stone art was also seen in the exhibition. In this section, people got a glimpse of stones, which were decorated in style. They also presented social messages.
