Himachal geared to check spread of dengue

Shimla – The state health and family welfare department is geared up to tackle the spread of dengue and no death from the disease has been reported from any part of Himachal Pradesh so far, Health Minister Kaul Singh Thakur today said. “The state government is taking effective steps to prevent spread of dengue in various parts of the state and the health department has made elaborate arrangements to tackle this disease. So far no death had been reported from any part of the state,” Singh said while presiding over a meeting of officers of health department, pollution control board and other concerned departments.
