Himachali Boy Makes Place In 100 World Record Holders List

Manan Sankhyan, a native of Bilaspur, has found a place amongst 100 world record holders of the country. He has been honoured by the world records union “World Kings’ organisation at a function organised in Delhi. Manan entered into world’s record book by registering 112 spin in a minute in Kathak dance. World Kings is now going to publish a book that will feature all the people who made world records in different fields last year. Bilaspur’s Manan Sankhyan’s name will also feature in this book. However, prior to publishing of this book, all 100 personalities holding world records including Manan Sankhyan were honoured in a function organised at Sri Fort stadium on November 12 in Delhi. Besides India, representatives of world record holders from 10 countries including England, US, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Bangladesh and Nepal and three continents registered their presence on the occasion. Man’s parents and his relatives were elated over this achievement of Manan. Manan while talking to Himachal This Week said that his next aim is to break his own record. Notably, he is presently pursuing B.Tech in Microbiology at D.A.V. University, Jalandhar. He created a niche for himself however all across the country through kathak dance. Manan has entered into Guinness Book of World Records, Limca Book of Records, Golden Book and India Book of Records with his 112 spin feat in one minute in kathak dance.
