SSM College, Dinanagar Wins Volleyball Championship

A volleyball championship was organised at Durana near Jawali by Leo Club, Harchakkiyan in the memory of Shaheed Uttam Chand Sharma and Pratap Singh Rana. 18 teams from Himachal and Punjab took part in this championship in the boys category, while in girls category, there were four team. In the girls category, the final match was played between Government Senior Secondary School, Nadholi and Government Senior Secondary School, Harchakkiyan. Nadholi School team played really well and clinched the winner’s title. The final match in boys category was played between Khalsa College, Amritsar and SSM College, Dinanagar. SSM College thrashed the Khalsa College team with their brilliant skills. The winner team was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 7, 100 and a trophy, while the runner-up team got Rs. 6, 100 and a trophy. Major PC Azad was the chief guest on the occasion, who distributed prizes to the winners.
