Devastating fire renders 11 families homeless

Rampur- Eleven families were rendered homeless as a devastating fire erupted today in Gahan area of Nankhari block of Rampur. Property worth lakhs of rupees was also gutted in the fire incident in which a temple was also damaged. Meanwhile Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur expressed grief over the fire incident and directed for immediate relief to the affected families. Shimla Deputy Commissioner Amit Kashyap said that the Naib Tehsildar had been sent on the spot to access the situation who distributed a sum of rupees five thousand each to 11 affected families as an immediate relief.
