Honor 7X

Chinese telecom company Huawei has launched its new smartphone Honor 7X in India. The new smartphone features a 5.93-inch full HD display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and a 2.5D glass protection. The smartphone is powered by a Kirin 659 octa-core processor with Mali-T830 MP2 for graphics paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of internal memory. In the photography department, the Honor 7X sports a dual-camera setup which is a combination of a 16-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. Up front, the smartphone houses an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling. On the software front, the Honor 7X runs on Android 7.0 Nougat based on EMUI 5.1 OS. The Honor 7X flaunts a full metal body in three colors – Black, Gold, and Blue.

Acer Swift 7

Acer has launched its thinnest laptop in India. The new Swift 7 laptop takes back its crown for the thinnest laptop available today as the machine is just 8.98mm thick. The design of the laptop has been completely updated from last year and the thinner bezels on the sides and top are much welcomed. While the design looks good, the hardware inside the Acer Swift 7 is still last gen as the laptop is powered by a 7th gen Intel Core i7 processor. You get 8GB of LPDDR3 RAM and a 256 GB SSD storage. Acer is announcing an LTE version of the machine as well. The Acer Swift 7 is using Intel’s new built-in XMM modem. The Acer Swift 7 also support nano-SIMs as well as extends support for the e-SIM technology. The laptop is priced at Rs. 97,500 in India.

Micromax Bharat 5

India’s leading telecom company Micromax has launched its new smartphone, Micromax Bharat 5, in India. The phone comes with a 5.20-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels. The Micromax Bharat 5 is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor and it comes with 1GB of RAM. The dual SIM phone packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Micromax Bharat 5 packs a 5-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies. The Micromax Bharat 5 runs Android 7.0 and is powered by a 5000mAh removable battery. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, FM, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor,  Accelerometer, and Ambient light sensor. It is available at an affordable price of Rs. 5900.
