800 Aspirants turn up for auditions held at 11 venues across Himachal

Auditions for Divya Himachal’s mega event Himachal Ki Awaz Season 6 concluded with the last edition organised in industrial belt at Nalagarh. About 100 aspirants turned up for auditions in the BBN area. The upcoming singers were judged by a panel of judges including Dr. Rajeev Pathania, Lord Mahaveera Nursing College director Ashima Jain and Himachal Ki Awaz season 5 senior category winner Umakant as celebrity judge.The participants mesmerised the audience and judges panel with their performances both in junior and senior categories. Venue of the auditions in the BBN area was campus of Lord Mahaveera Nursing College located in Dattowal of Nalagarh area. Director Ashima Jain said there was no dearth of talent in the industrial belt and Divya Himachal has provided them a unique platform to show their talent.So much was the craze among aspiring singers, both in junior and senior categories, that all audition venues attracted a large number of participants. Now the participants will be shortlisted for the next round of the Himachal’s unique singing talent hunt.

Himachal Ki Awaz 2016 junior winner Payal Thakur’s first song had become a big hit on YouTube. The song has 50,000 views and 2,000 likes during one week. The song has been picturised in Mandi, produced by Deshraj Thakur and lyrics are by Dr. Gaurav Thakur. Payal had also participated in SaReGaMaPa Little Champs.

Manali Winter Carnival : A Cultural Feast For Tourists

Display of folk culture is at its best during five daylong winter carnival at Manali. And this year was no exception as the carnival began with fascinating tableaux displaying folk art, folk culture and lifestyle of the people of the Kullu valley. It attracted participation of local mahila and yuvak mandals.  Winter Carnival is a huge hit as locals and tourists visit Manali to have a glimpse of unique blend of tradition, culture and ancient lifestyle.

30 Aspirants For Winter Queen Title

As tourists have thronged Manali in large numbers to be a part of winter carnival, it has also given a tremendous boost to the tourism sector in the area. Thirty aspirants are vying for the Winter Queen title, a major attraction of the celebrations. The participants include competitors from other states as also. In addition, the visitors are also enjoying Himachali delicacies at stalls established by a dozen mahila mandals in Manali. Two stages have also been set up where artists perform to enthrall the visitors.

Doubt

A doubt is a gray area. Gray is something which is neither white nor black. Now, how to solve a doubt?

Accept a doubt as either white or black. See your doubt as white and there is no doubt. See the doubt as black and accept it. Either way, you accept it and move on. See someone as honest and dishonest and accept him. Then your mind is quiet. Then you are not in the gray area of doubt. Have conviction: ” He is dishonest and yet he is still part of me. I accept him as he is.” That’s it. Finished. Doubt is an unstable state with footing neither on this shore no that shore. From there tension arises. One way or the other, take a direction and regain your footing.

Have you noticed that you usually doubt only things that are positive in your life? Negative things you don’t doubt. You doubt a person’s honesty, and you believe in his dishonesty. When someone is angry with you, you have no doubt about his anger. But when someone says he loves you, a doubt creeps in: Does he really love me? When you are depressed, do you ever think am I really depressed? No, you take your depression as a fact. Yet when you are happy, you doubt: Am I really happy; is this really what I wanted? You doubt that you are capable, but do you ever doubt that you are incapable?
