Joy Ride On Kalka-Shimla Rail Track

The Railway Department will provide the facility of joy ride to tourists on world heritage Kalka- Shimla railway track. It is for the first time that railway department is starting joy ride on this track from Shimla to Shoghi. This initiative has been taken by the department owing to enthusiasm of tourists to experience journey on Kalka Shimla railway track. The department earlier had given holiday special train gift to the tourists during winter season. Tourists can experience journey from Kalka to Shimla and Shimla to Kalka in special holiday train. Tourists will have to make special booking in order to experience joy ride. The train for joy ride will leave from Shimla at 12:45 PM and reach Shoghi at 1:50 PM. Train for the return journey will leave from Shoghi at 2:20 PM and reach Shimla at 3:30 PM.
