Shimla Bar Association Wins Lawyers Cricket Tournament

Cricket brought together all district bar associations of Himachal at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala in the 3rd edition of T-20 tournament organised by Himachal Pradesh High Court Lawyers Cricket Association.Bar Association, Shimla won the tournament. It defeated Kullu Bar Association in the final match. Batting first Kullu scored 111 runs. Shimla chased the target in the 16th over with the loss of only three wickets. Rohit Chauhan was judged best batsman whereas Devraj emerged as best bowler of the tournament. Justice Dharam Chand Chaudhary, Judge of the Himachal Pradesh High Court, was chief guest during the closing ceremony. District and Sessions Judge, Kangra, Purendra Vaidya, Labour Judge KK Sharma, Consumer Judge Mukesh Bansal, Additional District and Sessions Judge, Kangra, Rajeev Bali, Additional Sessions Judge, Jyotsana Dadhwal, Special Judge Rajesh Tomar, Mobile Traffic Magistrate Vishal Tiwari, CJM Vivek Sharma and Judicial Magistrate Umesh Sharma also registered their appearance as special guests. Justice Dharam Chand Chaudhary exchanged words with fraternity and encouraged all to spare time from busy schedule for sports to stay fit and healthy. He added, our fraternity is full of talent and skills and such tournaments add glory to their potential.
