Kangu Gets PWD Sub-Division

Shimla – Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today inaugurated the State level Nalwar Fair of Sundernagar. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that he had dedicated and laid foundation stone of projects worth Rs. 25.12 crore at Sundernagar today. Jai Ram Thakur said that fairs and festivals were essential for preservation and conservation of our rich cultural heritage of the State. He said that Sundernagar fair was being celebrated with traditional fervour for the last 500 years and credit of this goes to the tradition loving people of the area. He announced opening of PWD Sub Division at Kangu for ensuring timely construction of Slaper-Tatapani road. This Rs 220 crore project has been sent for the Centre for approval.
