In addition, the opening of new medical colleges has hit the faculty position at Tanda Medical College due to shifting of staff from here. The government should recruit staff for new medical colleges colleges rather than resorting than resorting to stop gap arrangements to fulfill Medical Council of India norms for newly opened medical colleges in this hilly state.
