Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2

Samsung India has refreshed its budget line-up with the Galaxy J7 Prime 2 for Rs 13,990. The device comes with a 5.5-inch full-HD screen and a streamlined design that makes it comfortable to hold. Powered by a 1.6 GHz Exynos octa-core processor, Galaxy J7 Prime 2 sports 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB via a MicroSD card slot. The device sports a full metal unibody design with 2.5D glass and a front-mounted fingerprint scanner. There are 13MP front and rear cameras with f/1.9 aperture in both sensors. The device also features Samsung “Pay Mini” which is designed to cater to the requirements of Indian mid-segment consumers. The smartphone is available at Samsung India’s retail outlets in black and gold colours.

Leica Cameras

German camera manufacturer, Leica has announced that it will be selling its camera range online in India exclusively on Amazon.in. To start with, Leica will initially offer three camera models on Amazon. These include the Sofort, D-lux and V-lux, which are priced at Rs 25,000, Rs 85,000 and Rs 90,000 respectively. Besides the cameras, the company will also be offering its range of accessories such as carry cases, straps, binoculars and more. Notably the cameras will be available via no cost EMI offers from all leading banks on Amazon. Further, these products will also be eligible for Prime, with next day delivery in most cities in India.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S

Xiaomi has finally unveiled the Mi Mix 2S smartphone at an event in Shanghai. Mi Mix 2S is powered by a 2.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 platform with an Adreno 630 GPU. The smartphone’s rear panel is made of ceramic, which allows for wireless charging and it will be available in White and Black colour variants. The smartphone is equipped with a dual-rear camera setup with a 12MP wide angle and a 12MP telephoto lens and front facing camera placed at the bottom right corner like its predecessor. It is backed by a 3400mAh battery and runs on MIUI 9, which is based up on Android Oreo. Xiaomi launched the Mi Mix 2S in three variants 6GB RAM/64GB version, 6GB RAM/128GB ROM model and 8GB RAM version with a 256 storage option. The Mi Mix 2S is made using series 7000 Aluminium.
