Dharmani Destabalising Government?
Himachal This Week
Himachal Youth Congress has questioned the intentions of Chief Parliamentary Secretary and Ghumarwin MLA Rajesh Dharmani who has written a letter to the party high command pointing towards party’s shrinking base in at least 18 assembly segments. It has once again brought to the fore intra-party wranglings of the party in open. Youth Congress has alleged that Dharmani was trying to destablise the government instead of expressing gratitude towards Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh who is setting new milestones of development in the state. It is not only weakening the organisation but also shattering the morale of party workers, said Ghumarwin Youth Congress President Ravi Thakur at a press conference .
He claimed that Rajesh Dharmani was appointed CPS to provide representation to Ghumarwin after Virbhadra led Congress government assumed power in Himachal but former indulged in high profile drama by resigning from the post twice to destablise the government. Chief Minister has never neglected Ghumarwin’s development but Dharmani was trying to destablise the government, Youth Congress Ghumarwin president added, pointing that it was wrong to leak the the letter written to the party high command to the media.
“Dharmani’s claim that proper representation has not been given to Hamirpur parliamentary area is wrong. From this area Ram Lal Thakur is Chairman of Twenty Point programme, Rajesh Dharmani is CPS, Vivek Kumar is APMC chairman, Bambar Thakur is member of different committees, Mukesh Agnihotri is minister and Cabinet rank has been given to Kuldeep Kumar, Inder Dutt Lakhanpal is CPS and Rajinder Rana is vice president of State Disaster Management Authority,” he added. Ravi Thakur accused Rajesh Dharmani of pressurising the party high command as he is aspiring for a post in the government.
