Another achievement for him came as he grabbed the title of ‘Mr. India Manhunt 2015’. Once again, he has clinched a role in an upcoming serial Poras on Sony TV in which he will be playing a major role. The show will be aired in September, 2017. For this role, Thakur is sweating hard these days in Mumbai. He is learning horse riding, fencing and Urdu language to be fit in the role. Until now, he has proved his mettle with his superb acting in shows like ‘Shapath’ for life OK, ‘Siya ke Ram’ on Star Plus and many others.
