Himachal experiences heavy rains

Shimla – Several areas of Himachal Pradesh today experienced heavy rains as the monsoon remained active in the state with most rivers and tributaries in the lower hills of Kangra and Una being flooded, the local MeT office said.  It has warned of heavy to very heavy in rains at isolated places in the mid and lower hills of Chamba, Kangra, Mandi, Sirmaur, Shimla, Solan, Kullu, Hamirpur, Una and Bilaspur in the next 24 hours and predicted wet spell in the region till July 16.
