Himachal has progressed in different sectors after it came into existence as a full state in 1971. Successive governments led by chief ministers of both the main political parties in Himachal contributed immensely in the growth of this hilly state that celebrated its 48th Statehood Day on January 25. However aspirations of people continue to soar as they look forward to government for various reasons.

There are many indications that new Chief Minister of the state, known to be a gentle soul, will like to carry the burden of babudum and hiscolleagues in assembly in goody-goody manner. Some wags often say inbazaars “Sabka saaath and sab ka vikas nahin chale ga”.
