‘Himachal Ki Awaz’ Finalist Now On DD National

What’s the best than knowing that Himachali singers are shining at every platform in India. Anil Thakur of Himachal has made all Himachalis proud by getting selected for the ‘Suron ka Eklavya’ singing talent show on DD National. After winning heart of famous music composer Bappi Lahiri during the auditions, he straight away made his road for this show.

A total of 52 episodes will be featured of this show in which 22 contestants from across the country are participating. Anil Thakur was in the top 10 finalists of ‘Himachal ki Awaz 2016’ junior category. Hailing from Chamba, Anil said that ‘Himachal ki Awaz’ had given him a platform from where he never looked back. “It was Divya Himachal’s ‘Himachal ki Awaz’ which gave new direction to my musical journey. I am happy that the media group is providing a place for all aspiring singers of the state like me,” Thakur said.
