Lights, camera, carpeted ramp and dazzling models of the hill state marked the ‘Miss Himachal 2017’ semifinals. Young ladies selected after auditions in different districts of the state, were seemingly confident while walking on the ramp during the semifinals at Baba Resort in Dharampur of Solan district. Contestants shortlisted during auditions displayed their talent on the ramp while modelling and answering questions asked by the judges.       Himachal’s only credible beauty pageant ‘Miss Himachal’ kicked off the audition sessions in December last year in different places across the state to give young, gorgeous girls an opportunity to enter the contest to be next ‘Miss Himachal’.  Enthusiastic contestants came forward to show their talent as Miss Himachal is the only beauty pageant of the state through which Himachali girls not only get a chance to prove their mettle in the state but also at the national and international platforms. Selectors had shortlisted 120 contestants for the semifinals. From which, only 20 contestants would make it to the final round of this glittering event. Response of girls was amazing during the three daylong semifinals of ‘Miss Himachal’. Miss Himachal is an event that has opened numerous doors for many Himachali girls in the glamorous world.

Three Rounds For Entry In Final

There were three rounds i.e. catwalk, interview and talent round. Catwalk round consisted ramp walk, interview round consisted personal interview and contestants displayed their talent, including singling and dancing, in the talent round.Those who have performed outstandingly during these three rounds will make it to reach into the final of this coveted event.
