Organisational changes in Himachal Congress are likely to be effected shortly, said sources. Presence of Himachal Congress affairs in charge Ambika Soni was also present during Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh’ meeting with AICC national vice president Rahul Gandhi in Delhi recently. Sources added that party high command has assured every possible help to Chief Minister to accomplish party’s ‘Mission Repeat’.

In the wake of these developments, political observers feel that there could be organisational changes in state Congress as Chief Minister has already raised the issue of taking back rebel leaders back in party fold. He has gone on record that office bearers should be elected as AICC constitution and not by nomination to bring loyal and hard working workers to the forefront.

Chief Minister has not only opposed organisational districts but had also pointed out that he was not taken into confidence in this regard. Virbhadra Singh has not met Rahul Gandhi for the second time advocating organisational changes. Political observers feel that organisational changes can be done after Bhoranj bye-election.

Meanwhile Chief Minister has also sought a free hand to accomplish ‘Mission Repeat’ and his loyalists echoing the same reportedly by targeting organisational leaders at different occasion. Issue of unemployment allowance is biggest example as not only the organisational leaders but also some of the Cabinet minister also raised it vociferously. The temperature within Congress is likely to increase in coming days, opine political observers.
