Mega India – Australia Fashion Show Event In Kullu

Bhuttico Weavers Cooperative Society and Australia’s Woolmark Company will jointly organise the event

Devbhoomi Kullu will soon become testimony to a mega India and Australia fashion show. The mega event will be organised under ‘Grown in Australia and Make in India’ concept. Bhuttico Weavers Cooperative Society, that has made a mark world over for its Kulluvi shawls and the Woolmark Company to market its handlooms have joined hands to organise this mega event in Kullu. This is for the first time that such a big event is going to held in Kullu. However Bhuttico last year too had organised a fashion show and had earned profit through the event. But this time Bhuttico has decided to make it more bigger and has collaborated with Australian Woolmark company. The fashion show will be organised this month in picturesque location of Kullu valley. The Woolmark Company had already done a survey in the Kullu and Bhuttico has geared up for the preparations to organise the mega event. The company has surveyed Nature Park, Mohal, Jhiri, Raisen and Bhuttico orchard. The company will select one of the locations out of these surveyed sites. The event will witness Woolmark Head and local and Mumbai media participation in the event also. International models will enthrall the audience during the event. The mega fashion show will definitely provide much needed impetus to handloom industry too. According to Bhuttico Society, this event will definitely help in marketing Kullu handloom world over. Bhuttico society will take care of the dress, food and boarding facilities of models while Woolmark Company will sponsor the designer. Bhuttico society is holding meetings to chart a blueprint for the mega event and will spend several lakhs of rupees to organise the event.

Bhuttico To launch New Products During Dussehra

Bhuttico Weavers Cooperative Society will present three to  four new products during the international Dussehra festival celebrations in Kullu. It includes stole, readymade garments, warp thread etc. The products are already available with the society, but the society want to launch it during Dussehra festival as it attracts tourists from all across the globe featuring more attention for the new products.
