Guv participates in cleanliness campaign

Shimla –Governor Acharya Devvrat participated in the Cleanliness Campaign organized here today. He himself took a broom and cleaned certain parts of Lakkar Bazar. On this occasion, the Governor said that it was essential to preserve the beauty of the hill State which was possible with the involvement of all sections of the society. He said that lakhs of tourists visit the state capital every year and in order to promote tourism all tourist spots in Shimla should be kept clean. He urged the people to make cleanliness drive a mass movement. The governor also distributed dustbins to the shopkeepers provided by Pollution Control Board.
