Gmail Go App

Google has released a new Gmail Go app, which is aimed at devices with low specs. It is the company’s newest app to join the Go apps lineup and is a ‘lite’ version of the original Gmail app. The Gmail Go app can work on patchy networks and allows reading and replying to messages offline as well. It retains most features from the original app like sorting mails under different labels like Primary, Social, Promotions and more. The Gmail Go app supports new mail notifications, comes with 15GB of free storage and a spam filter. It also comes with the functionality of adding both Gmail and non-Gmail addresses like Yahoo Mail, Outlook.com, or other IMAP/POP accounts. However, it only supports devices running on Android 8.1 and is expected to be present on Android Oreo (Go Edition) devices.
