SAI Hostel Wins Kabaddi Tournament

SAI Hostel, Dharamshala won the trophy of the State Kabaddi Tournament in women section held at Government Boys Senior Secondary School, Hamirpur by defeating State Sports Hostel, Bilaspur 38-32 in the final match. Earlier, the semifinals were played between State Hostel, Bilaspur and Sirmaur teams, while the other semifinal was played between SAI, Dharamshala and SIRDA Academy, Mandi. In the men’s final, Solan beat Una by 42-41 to emerge as winners. The first semifinal in men’s section was played between Solan and Chamba and the other was played between Una and SAI Hostel, Dharamshala. As many as 28 teams comprising 350 kabbadi players participated in the tournament. These included 12 women’s and 16 men’s teams from each district of the state.
