Minister for strengthening sports infrastructure

Shimla – Forest, Transport, Youth Services and Sports Minister Govind Singh Thakur said here that all out efforts would be made to strengthen the sports infrastructure in the State so that youth of the state could excel in all spheres of life, especially sports activities. He said that in order to strengthen the department, the State Youth Board would be reconstituted soon. He said that the State Youth Policy, which was formed in the year 2002 has not so for been revised till date which would be revised in consultation with the various stakeholders such as Mahila Mandal, Yuvak Mandal, Gram Panchayat and entrepreneurs.
