Social Media Baffles People

This is regarding Himachal This Week’s cover story of September 16, 2017, “Social Media Baffles People”. It is true that people are perplexed when so much of content is available on social media. This media is considered to be a faster mode of communication to recah out to different sections of the society. Not only, the feedback recieved  on different issues through media is also tremendous. Users air their views and recat to different posts differently. However, users are left to themselves to decide about the authenbticity of content available on social media. And politcians also use it to put forward theiur viewpoint besides highlighting their achievements.

Political Rallies

Rallies are lifeline in politics but also pose problems for common people. Long traffic jams was witnessed in Kangra when BJP national president Amit Shah addressed a rally in Kangra. India is biggest democracy in th world but it is not for common people here. Leaders are happy when they see a hige gathering but nobody thinks about the energy put in first to arrange things and then to settle everything in order. Is it not possible that leaders address people of different areas through video conferencing? It will reduce problems of so many sections of the society who suffer due to lonmg traffic jams.
