This is regarding Himachal This Week’s cover story of September 23, 2017 , “Shah Kick-starts BJP’s Campaign”. Political temperature is rising in Himachal that goes to polls later this year. As the political parties are gearing up for upcoming general assembly elections, central leaders of both the Congress and BJP have started visiting this hilly state regularly. The Bharatiya Janata Party’s national president Amit Shah’s s Yuva Hunkar rally was organised at Kangra to motovate to motivate and woo youd voters in party’s favour. It formally kick-started BJP’s election election camapaign in Himachal. The Congress is trying to accomplish its’ Mission Repeat’ whereas opposition BJP aims to achieve it Mission 50 Plus to wrest the power in Himachal.

Sinha’s Salvo

Yashwant Singh has recently targeted Union Finance Minister Arun Jeitley and his policies. Sinha, a senior BJP leaders has held Finance and Defence portfolis in the past. However he along wit senior party leaders was sidelined after Narendra Modi became Prime Minister. He leaves no chance to hit at Modi government’s policies. However, this time he has targeted Arun Jaitley. Figures also indicate that country’s economy is under pressure. Under these circumstances, Finance Minister Arun jaitley should present true picture of economy before the country.
