Himachal has got recognition all over the world because of Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala. Domestic cricket championships are being organised these days in Himachal, which has brought cricket fever among youngsters. While Himachal is hosting Ranji matches, Cooch Behar Trophy is also being hosted in the hill state.

Himachal Vs. Chhattisgarh

In a Group D match under Ranji Trophy, Himachal Pradesh team were bowled out for 175 against Chhattisgarh at HPCA, Dharamshala. The team was finally bowled out by the Pankaj Rao-led attack. The bowler claimed three wickets while S Ruikar also claimed 3/20. Mohammed Shahnawaz picked two wickets while Abhimanyu Chauhan and Vishal Singh took one wicket each. Chhattisgarh was playing on 263 for three wickets in 84 overs on the second day of its first innings. For Chhattisgarh AN Khare was batting on 51 runs.

Uttar Pradesh Defeats Himachal In Cooch Behar Trophy

Himachal tasted defeated from Uttar Pradesh by 26 runs in a match during the under-19 Cooch Behar Trophy. The match was played at Amtar Ground in Nadaun. Uttar Pradesh gave a target of 252 runs to Himachal, but Himachali team got all out on 225 runs. Earlier, Uttar Pradesh chose to bat first and put 202 runs on the board in the first innings. Himachal team played well in its first innings and scored 273 runs with a lead of 71 runs. Uttar Pradesh then came back for the second innings and gave a target of 323 runs to Himachal team while leading with 252 runs. Himachal team couldn’t chase the target and got all out on 225 runs.
