The search for Himachal Ki Awaz Season 6 continues after the first auditions were held at Divya Himachal’s headquarter at Old Matour on December 22. Notably Himachal’s leading media group Divya Himachal holds many events, including Himachal ki Awaaz, to provide an opportune platform to Himachali youths in different fields. In the past years, many talented singers have emerged who are performing outstandingly at various platforms. Other events include Miss Himachal, Mr. Himachal, Dance Himachal Dance and others. The last auditions would be held at Nalagarh on January 3, 2018.

Craze For Event

Himachali youths have seemingly grabbed this opportunity with both hands if number of participants in auditions is any indication. About 90 aspirants turned up in Palampur where famous folk singer Dheeraj Sharma was a member of the judges panel along with two others, including music teacher Sandeep Sharma. They not only encouraged participants but also gave them tips to improve their singing talent. Two auditions were held in Mandi district where number of participants went up to 225. Encouraging results were also witnessed during auditions held in Kullu and Bilaspur.

Two Groups

The auditions are being held in two groups, seniors and juniors. The aspirants will sing two songs of their choice to undergo voice test without music. The auditions will be held at various places across Himachal. So far these have been held at Chamba, Palampur, Mandi, Kullu and Bilaspur where a large number of participants registered for auditions. The semifinal will be held in January followed by grand finale in February 2018.
