Learning Acting At Gaiety Theatre

It’s vacation time in winter closing schools in Himachal. And to keep them busy, acting classes are being held at Gaiety Theatre in the state capital. The children will learn finer points of acting in classes held by famous stage artist Tarun Mishra.

The tender souls are participating enthusiastically in these hobby classes where they get an opportunity to learn new skills besides honing their talent under the watchful eyes of established stage artists. The content also includes describing relation of literature with the stage. Stage artists Taruna Mishra explains that stage was not only a platform to perform and entertainment but also a powerful medium to express one’s views.

Children are also participating in stage dramas written by nationally and internationally acclaimed litterateurs. The stage dramas are also based on issues confronting different sections of the society, prominent among which are cleanliness, violence against women and social issues.
