34 Himachalis in ‘Khelo India School Games’

School Games Federation of India has selected 34 sportspersons from Himachal for the ‘Khelo India School Games.’ This event is being held in Delhi by the Sports and Youth Affairs Ministry of India from January 31 to February 9. Young talented girl of the state, Seema is representing Himachal in Athletics and participate in 3000 meters race. Students from various sports are participating in the national programme for the development of sports in India.  The Centre’s new programme is aimed improving health and fitness among youth.
