All New Maruti Suzuki Swift Launched

The much awaited and much loved Maruti Suzuki new Swift hatchback that was showcased in Auto Expo in Delhi has been launched finally in Himachal Pradesh too. The new car by Maruti was launched at Vehicleades, Maruti’s authorised showroom, at Malan (Kangra) and Jachh in Nurupur tehsil. General Manager R.C. Katoch explained the features of the new car to the public during inauguration ceremony at Malan. He told that Maruti launched Swift car in 2005 and changes were made in the car as per needs and wishes of customers from time to time. The car now has been presented in entire new avatar in 2018. The new car is completely different from its older avatar, he added. The dimension of the car has been increased. The car now is 3840 mm long, 1735 mm wide and height has been increased to 1530 mm. The wheelbase of the car too has increased to 2450 mm. However despite increase in dimensions, the car has shed weight by 85 kilogram. The car is available in both petrol and diesel version with same engine specifications as were in older car.  The car is available for a price tag of Rs. 4.99 lakh for base model to Rs. 7.83 lakh for fully loaded model.

Hyundai Launches New Elite i20 Car

Dharamshala: Hyundai Motor Company has launched the 2018 model of its popular premium hatchback-the i20 at Sant Hyundai, authorised showroom of the company at Ghurkari on Matour-Pathankot road. LIC development officers Sanjay Sharma and Vikram Guleria launched the car. The new i20 is a facelift version of the outgoing model with some significant cosmetic as well as feature updates. The petrol variant of the Elite i20 starts at Rs 5.35 lakh and goes up to Rs 7.91 lakh for the top model, while the Diesel variant will starts at Rs 6.73 lakh and goes up to Rs Rs 9.16 lakh for the top trim. Most of the noticeable changes are visible on the face of the car a new black cascading grille and redesigned headlamp with new LED daytime running lights. The bumper also gets a new design with an integrated spoiler and arrow-head fog lamp housing. The rear looks slightly different with a fresh tail lamp cluster.  The engine options remains same as of the older car.

Launches ‘Swachh Can’

Hyundai Motor India Limited, the country’s second largest manufacturer of passenger cars and the number one exporter has launched ‘Swachh Can’, a portable bin for all Hyundai Cars under its new CSR Pillar for India- ‘Swachh Move’ supporting the nationwide campaign Swacch Bharat Abhiyan. Launching the new CSR Pillar – ‘Swachh Move, Y K Koo, MD & CEO, Hyundai Motor India Limited, said, “As a Caring manufacturer and in-line with the nationwide Clean India Movement, we have developed Swacch Can, a portable bin for all Hyundai Cars. We recently conducted a Survey of car owners and found 98% respondents deeply care about cleanliness of outside infrastructure such as streets, roads and more than 95% respondents favored they would prefer a portable covered bin inside the car in which waste items could be conveniently disposed-off, this led us to another innovation of Swachh Can. Starting from March 1st, 2018, entire Hyundai Product line-up will come with factory-fitted Swachh Cans.
