10 Special Players For National Camp

Special sportspersons of Himachal have been selected to be the part of national camp for ‘2019 Special Olympics World Summer Games’. Final selection of the players will be done after three training camps. The first training camp is scheduled to be held in Haryana in March. 2019 Special Olympics World Summer Games will be held in Abu Dhabi, the capital of UAE. This is a multi-sport event for athletes with intellectual disabilities. The selected players have certain sway in sports in the state. Those selected from Himachal include power lifter Pooja from Bilaspur district, power lifter Salochana from Chamba district, athlete Nisha from Mandi district, handball player Radha from Mandi district, volleyball players Chirag and Vinod from Mandi district, footballer Anil from Bilaspur district, Raghunath from Una district in cycling and Shubham from Bilaspur district.
