Guv, CM greet on Guru Govind Singh Jayanti

Shimla- Governor Acharya Devvrat and Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh have felicitated the people of the State especially the Sikh community on the auspicious occasion of Guru Govind Singh ji’s birth anniversary. Acharya Devvrat in his felicitation message said that Guru Govind Singh worked for safeguarding the religion and humanity and laid down his life for the cause of communal harmony and social services.
Virbhadra Singh said that Guru Govind Singh strived against cruelty, injustice, atrocity and inhuman forces. He said that teachings of Guru Govind Singh ji were more relevant today and we must resolve to follow his footsteps for building a strong, prosperous and united nation.
