HP Assembly adjourned sine die

Shimla – Himachal Pradesh Assembly Budget Session was today adjourned sine die amid protest by the opposition after transacting most business clearing five bills including 2017-18 General Budget estimates. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Mukesh Agnihotri said that Government want to move a proposal in the House that the Session should be sine-die as it had completed most of the mandatory business.

The Opposition members Ravinder Singh Ravi alleged that Opposition opposes the Government move as there are number of issues including private member bills yet to be transacted in the Session. Speaker BBL Butail turned down plea of BJP members. The Opposition leader Prem Kumar Dhumal wanted to intervene however, the Speaker moved the proposal to adjourn house sine dies which was accorded by the voice votes by the members.
