Special campaign for registering electors
Shimla – The State Election department has launched a special campaign to register the electors who so far have not been able to register their names in photo electoral rolls. A Spokesperson of the department said here today that the campaign would continue till 30 September, 2017 and the booth level officers were preparing the photo identity cards by visiting each household. The voters, who have completed 18 years of age on 1st January, 2017 would be eligible for making their cards and exercise their franchise in coming Vidhan Sabha elections.
