Festivals Promote Cultural Values: CM

Palampur – Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said that the Holi Festival of Palampur had carved out its distinct place with its traditional splendour. He said that fairs and festivals strengthen social fabric and brotherhood. Holi spreads fraternity and love when all differences are sunk on this day. He said these festivities help in promoting the traditional customs and cultural values which further go a long way in strengthening the bonds of brotherhood. Chief Minister was at Palampur to preside over the closing ceremony of the State Level Holi festival of Palampur on Friday late evening
