Orientation workshop for legislators, stakeholders

Shimla – The Department of Environment, Science and Technology is organising an orientation workshop on ‘climate change adaptation in Himachal Pradesh’ for the legislators of Himachal Pradesh Assembly on March 28, 2018. Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur and Speaker Dr. Rajiv Bindal, will participate in the workshop which will also be attended by various stakeholders. A Spokesperson of the state government said here today that the Chief Minister will launch model eco-village scheme on this occasion. He will also release model eco village guidelines, climate change vulnerability assessment report on Beas river basin in Kullu district and information brochures in Hindi language on climate change knowledge.
