Diminishing Cultural Folk Theater
Himachal has rich cultural diversity and different areas are known for different forms of folk theater associated with them. This used to be a favourite pastime for people especially in rural areas of this hilly state. Dancing, music, singing or staging a drama was performed on almost every occasion; be it a festival, fair or any other occasion as folk theater was an important mainstay of cultural heritage. It were based on legends, myths, culture, religion, history and other aspects. It acted as a strong medium for spreading a message among people of the area. Some of the very popular folk theaters included Kariyala, Banthra, Dholru, Bhagat, Swang, Thoda and others. However, these forms of folk theater are gradually diminishing with the passage of time.

Dream of Greater India: Forget Akhand Bharat or Hindu Rashtra
Hindu nationalists have long dreamt of a Greater India. They aspire to rebuild a nation matching the size and glory of ancient India – Akhand Bharat (Undivided India) and Hindu Rashtra (Hindu Nation). RSS and BJP leaders have often pushed for these aims much to the chagrin of India’s secularists. There is no doubt both projects are daring and excite many Hindus. But both are doomed to failure. Recreating Akhand Bharat is unrealistic, and establishing a Hindu Rashtra is ultimately self-defeating. However, the ambition of creating a Greater India has some chance of success by forming a federation of like-minded nations, a Bharat Mahasangh.
