Rampur – Six persons were killed when a vehicle rolled down into a gorge due to landslide in Nirmand area of Kullu district. The deceased, including a woman and a child, are yet to be identified. The mishap is believed to have occurred late Sunday night.

Shimla – The mercury is likely to drop in Himachal Pradesh with heavy rain and snowfall predicted in parts of the state next week. The local MeT office said heavy rain and snowfall are likely on December 11 and 12 and the wet spell may continue till December 15.

Shimla – Himachal High Court has sought details about illegal hotels running in Dharamshala area within a week. The court has directed Pollution Control Board officials at Dharamshala to inspect these hotels and submit a report on December 15.

Chamba – Two persons were killed as a car they were traveling in fell into a gorge on Chamba-Patahnkot national highway. The deceased have been identified as Satpal and Sanjeev. The mishap occurred when driver suddenly lost control over the vehicle.

Sundernagar- Six of a marriage party were killed when a Tempo Traveller they were traveling in fell into a gorge near Kango. Seven other were injured in the mishap that occurred when marriage party was returning to Ambala in Haryana from Sundernagar.

Shimla- In a major breakthrough; Himachal police have arrested all three Kanda jail fugitives from Sairi forest near Solan. They had escaped from jail on Tuesday night

Dharamshala – All preparations have been put in place for Ist One Day International cricket match scheduled to be held between India and Sri Lanka teams on December 10. Both the teams had practice sessions at HPCA cricket ground

Shimla – Rains lashed several parts of Himachal bringing the mercury down by several notches, even as the weatherman forecast similar conditions for tomorrow. Higher reaches also received snowfall.

Kullu – A five years old school student died and two others injured when their school bus fell off the road in Thatibeet Valley of Banjar area. The mishap occurred when driver reportedly lost control over the vehicle.
