HP introduces Environmental Leadership Award

Shimla – The State Government has introduced ‘Himachal Pradesh Environmental Leadership Award’ to be conferred every year to various categories of institutions/individuals of the State who excel in promotion of environmental conservation and sustainable development by demonstrating successful initiatives. Such awards will be announced after careful scrutiny of proposals/ applications/recommendations by expert panel(s) for each category. It will be the decision of the screening/selection committee to recommend one of more than one award or non in identified categories. The award will be in the form of a citation along with cash prize of Rs. 50,000 as first prize and Rs. 25,000 as second prize besides a trophy.
